I was walking through Space and I heard a little girl about six years old say “Hey mom we live on the moon” the mom answered “No, Honey we live on Earth” the little girl answered “But mom I watched the video and it said we live on the moon!”
I was in the Cave Plaza and had an awesome discussion with an older guest about our animals. She was shocked to find out how long the cecropia moths will stay in their cocoons and thought it was so cool that snakes shed their eye caps and that you can tell a snake is about to shed when their eyes are in blue. We went around to almost every animal in there and talked about them individually.
I adapted the cloud demo on the science stage by doing one on one shows with guests. I had one kid excited to make clouds. He used his foot to pump air into the bottle, and I told him he was being like the sun and evaporating the liquid into a gas. After I asked if he wanted to do an experiment. I said pump the pump till 20 psi and what do you think is going to happen? He made a hypothesis that proved correct! He also observed that the bottle felt colder which made sense because more pressure was inside the bottle.

Today I challenges some kids to a Mars Rover “Dance Off” We all programed our rovers to do the same move then had them perform them at the same time
