  1. It was a delightful day to learn about animals, specifically THE BOX TURTLE! Anne was showing an entire camps class this beautiful majestic turtle in all its glory. Being nervous around so many faces the majestic turtle urinated all over Anne’s hand. She cleaned herself off and continued showing off this beautiful creature. The kids were so excited and happy to be experiencing this animal. (Don’t worry this is going downhill) Anne looked at the turtle and said “it looks like he’s pooping now……..” she looks over at me and the camp councilor “oh…oh no that’s not poop” she says with utter despair. She sets the turtle down as this miniature log/paddle shaped object nearly the size of the animal’s entire torso begins to recede back into the turtle. She wipes her hands off while staring in surprise at me and the councilor as one of the students asks. “Is that its penis!” To which Anne responds “yes, that would be it’s penis” *silence*

  2. I was just closing up the Science Stage after a fireball show when I met a young man at the top of the ramp who said, “Are you going to do the experiment?”
I explained we had just finished and I was closing up.
He said, “Yeah, but are you going to do the EXPERIMENT?”
I had time and everything was still in place so I did it one more time. I’ve never seen anyone so excited for one of my shows. It was a pleasure to see the smile on his face.

  3. I’m outside vibing with the cicadas with a guest. We both have multiple cicadas crawling on us. Then suddenly something hits my eye. And I scream and it’s wet. A cicada flew into my eye and peed in my eye.
