  1. Was running the Brictionary Theater and while I was going over guidelines a young boy around 5 was raising his hand and almost exploding to say something. When I finished I ask him what his question was and he said.

“When you have something to say sometimes it is better just to keep it in your brain”.

That kid is the beginning of wisdom.

  2. Today was just about the perfect day! We were chock full of school groups in NHS and there were so many good questions. I was set for the stage show, and on top of that Channel 19 was in to record and ask some questions. Just 2 weeks ago I had never run Fireball, but with a fantastic school group audience, (to pat myself on the back) I think I knocked it out of the park. In addition to all the bustling groups, there was an older couple who hadn’t been at the museum in about 25 years. I ran into them a handful of times pointing them in directions and explaining changes. On the way out, they thanked me profusely and I just about cried. Days like this is why we’re here!

  3. Note, this happened the same day as my previous comment… I was asked by a student if dinosaurs had balls. After clarifying the question, I answered that they must have had a form of reproductive organs.

Next to the mastodon, I demonstrated the use of sharp teeth versus folded teeth on my schedule paper. I stabbed the paper a few times and asked if this was an effective way of breaking down the “leaf” or… I then grabbed two opposite corners and crumpled/ground the paper together if this was more effective. The point was thoroughly conveyed… on my schedule.

  4. I saw a little girl carrying around a stuffed Stitch and went up to her and said I loved Stitch as well! I then asked if I could give her Stitch a hug and she said yes! She quickly saw my Stitch pins and noticed Jumbas pin! She said she didn’t like him! I said but Jumba was the one who created him! She said she still doesn’t like him.

I saw the same girl a few minutes later and she was looking at my lanyard again! I told her that I have the same plush she has! She asked where it was and I said at home she then said I should bring him in next time she is here! I then stated if she is here on 626 day that she can see me with more of my Stitch items!
