  1. Yesterday while I was in children’s I found a little boy standing in the middle of the entrance area yelling “mama”. So I went over to him, asked if he was looking for his mama, to which he said yes. I introduced myself as Miss Samantha and asked if I could help him find his mama and he responded “yes, please!” so he took my hand and kind of lead me right to where she was sitting and she looked super confused as to what was going on. I cancelled the separated adult call and explained to her what happened and she said “Oh, yesterday I was teaching him what he should do if we’re out and he gets lost, I think he may have just been practicing”

  2. On Friday I had a separated adult in Kids at Work, we were looking for mommy and daddy, and when I asked her what they look like, she started describing me. She was little, so I started with asking what color her dads’ hair was, was it brown like mine kind of thing. I asked her what color his shirt was, red. He had glasses, etc. When we found mom and dad in the woods neither matched any of that description.

  3. Just heard a guy from Diamond Tours say “I’m having too much fun for the health of my knee, I’m gonna have to sit down at some point” while laughing as he left The Cave

  4. Today while I was in The Woods I had a guest come up to me and say that we are “leaps and bounds” better than the Indianapolis Children’s Museum and that they’re really excited to keep bringing their kids here in the future

  5. While I was running the fireball show today I ran it as more of a theatrical show; I put the candle, stand, and tube under the counter and just had the pile of powder on the table and made a whole dramatic show of trying to light the pile on fire and had the audience figure out with me what I was missing when it wasn’t exploding and dramatically revealed the components I needed. It went really well that way and the audience seemed to get a kick out of it

  6. I talked to a guest who said she was too scared to go into the cave because she was claustrophobic and was wondering if someone would go in with her. We went through the upper trail with no trouble and she wanted to try the lower trail. We did and made it most of the through before she wanted to hurry out and then she left the building to get some air. I saw her later and she was very thankful and appreciative.
