I did my “terrible juggling” bit in Energy Zone. As I took my bows and turned to leave, a ball bonked me right on the back of my head. I turned around to find a kid laughing his head off. I gave him my most cartoonish glare, which only made him laugh harder.
An older couple came into TCM first thing Saturday morning, with no kids in evidence. They explained they were in town from Louisville to see a show that night, and were making a day of it. I showed them around and saw them throughout the day, each time telling them more about the exhibits. Before they left, they said they planned to come back with their grandchildren, so I took the opportunity to mention membership. They seemed very pleased and impressed and I expect to see them back before long.
