  1. I had a family break apart and the father and son (maybe like 7 yo) hung back and the kid was asking a bunch of questions all the way through natural history. While in the cave plaza he was saying how much he liked different subjects like math and reading (we read the whole energy in caves display together) and then he points to his dad and says “he taught me everything” and clasps onto his dad’s legs and says “that you for teaching me!” Sweetest I’ve seen in a while, melted my heart.

  2. Some young adults came up to me in the rotunda and asked if I knew any interesting facts about the building. I was able to enlighten them to a lot of fun things! Including, but not limited to – the ammonite fossils, the lost concourse, and building materials.

  3. I spent maybe 30 minutes talking to a guy who was interested in everything in the Museum of Natural History. I told him about the K-pg boundary, becoming a fossil, the paleo lab, and more. He at first was going through the exhibit by himself but once he heard me tell another couple about the K-pg boundary he was all questions. It was a lot of fun.

  4. A husband told his wife to go into the corner of the rotunda. In the opposite corner in the whispering fountain, he yelled “THANKS FOR COMING WITH ME HONEY”
